Blue Gum is a small school by design, so that our educators can make school a place of joy, deep learning and rich relationship.
If you are interested in visiting Blue Gum Community School or Enrolling, the steps below outline the pathway to enrolment.
Step 1
Register your expression of interest by adding your child to the Waiting List (the link has been provided below).
Some information about the Waiting List:
- There is no fee payable to be placed on the Waiting List.
- You can select more than one entry year for your child. eg playgroup 2027 & Kindergarten 2029 (so that means we should have only one waiting list per child).
- If your child is already enrolled in a Blue Gum program (such as playgroup, preschool, or school) your child’s profile automatically rolls up each year.
Step 2
The best way to see what our educational philosophy looks like in practice, is to attend an Open Day, which are held once per term.
This is an important step in gaining clearer insight into what makes Blue Gum Community School so unique. Open Days are for ADULTS ONLY, bookings are essential. Attendance at an Open Day is a vital step in our enrolment process and is considered when we review waiting list applicants. Open Day inofrmation can be found on the home page of our website.
Additional information
For school students, individual family tours/interviews for potential students, will only be offered as a second step in our enrolment process, after parent/s have attended an Open Day and a complete waiting list application has been submitted.
The Enrolment period for Blue Gum Community School occurs during Term 2 and Term 3. We will contact applicants regarding the next steps during that period.
